Incoming Goods Inspector / Measuring Device Manager (m/f)

  • Conducting incoming goods inspections (also at suppliers, when required) inclusive checking of the accompanying documentation, as material certificates (EN 10204), test plans, reports, conformity inspections, etc., as provided with the hardware.

  • Preparation of documentation related to the incoming goods, including notice of complaints (quality issues).

  • Managing of the notice of complaints by the supplier using the 8D Method.

  • Blocking Stock management.

  • Support of the Warehouse department (incoming, outgoing and shipping process).

  • Support of the Quality Manufacturing department and PO operations department.

  • Conducting QTR / FAI (in accordance with EN 9102) / ATR.

  • In collaboration with the Production Support department, managing the measuring devices.

  • Responsible for the calibration of the Measuring / Testing Equipment

  • Support of suppliers and Engineering for Quality Assurance Plans / Specification / Acceptance Test Plans drafting.

  • Support of the Procurement and Supply Chain by supplier performance evaluation.

  • Support of auditing activities preparation (internal, at suppliers and for the authority).


  • Good knowledge of the German language

  • Good knowledge of the English language for the aeronautical domain

  • Structured, independent and solution oriented way of working

  • International experience is a plus

  • Good team worker

  • Analytical and process oriented mind-set associated with pragmatic partoriented hands-on approach

  • Good knowledge of all MS-Office software

  • Good knowledge of the SAP ERP System (QM area)

  • Flexible worker, prepared to support and act in other functions across the organisation

  • Experience with FAI and aircraft systems and components checks is a plus

  • Knowledge of DO/ PO EASA processes is a plus

  • Experience with composite manufacturing (glass fiber, wet laminate) is a plus

  • Experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM Software (version 10.x) will be an advantage

Education / Experience:

  • Technical education in the aeronautical industry

  • Working experience in the aeronautical industry for Quality Management (min. 5 years)
